Welcome to our “Villa Villekulla”, our colourful house – without a horse on the porch, but very pleasant!
The 33 sqm wheelchair-accessible flat on the ground floor offers room for max. 2 guests.
The living and sleeping area is equipped with a single bed and a pullout bed. A kitchenette with a 2-burner stove, a sink with drainboard and a small fridge is available. You enter the flat through a separate entrance via the beautiful and well-kept garden terrace, which also offers a view of the garden and garden pond.
The bathroom is wheelchair-accessible and features a level-access, spacious shower. Wi-Fi, bedding and towels are included, as is the covered parking space. Bicycles can also be parked here.
The house is directly next to the forest, on a quiet street. Built in the Bäderstil or “spa style”, the building is located in a tranquil residential area on the rocks above Bad Herrenalb, at about 400 m altitude. From here you have different opportunities to entertain yourself in Bad Herrenalb: a golf course, the city centre, a heated outdoor swimming pool, the Siebentäler Therme thermal baths and a supermarket can all be reached in a few minutes on foot or by car. It is 10 minutes by foot to the tram station, from where you can take a train to Karlsruhe or the historic old town of Ettlingen. The Falkenburg Specialist Hospital is also only 10 minutes by foot. The Dobel Forest Clinic and the SRH Clinic in Langensteinbach are about 10 km away. In winter you can set off on a snowshoe hike or explore the cross-country skiing trails. The border triangle of Germany, Switzerland and France offers many attractions: the international art and festival town of Baden-Baden, the spa route from Bad Wildbad via the Eyachtal valley to Bad Herrenalb, the Mummelsee lake (one of the seven cirque lakes in the Black Forest), the Schwarzwaldhochstraße or “Black Forest High Road” (the oldest and most famous scenic route of Germany), Karlsruhe, the Europa-Park theme park in Rust, the charming Southern Palatinate with its hiking trails and culinary offerings...
You will be spoilt for choice for different day trips that you can start from our base camp.
And if you can´t decide, we will be able to give you further advice.
